April 19, 1955 — June 7, 2016

Randy Keith Reeves, age 61 of Fayette, passed away June 7, 2016 at DCH Medical Center. Services will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Fayette Church of Christ with Bill Dorriety and Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery in Vernon, AL. Visitation will be Saturday at Fayette Church of Christ from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Lloyd Reeves; mother, Reba Jo Crowe; brother, Terry Reeves; great aunt, Drucilla Hall; grandfather, Dink Reeves; grandmother, Dessie Reeves; grandfather, William Orvin Robertson; grandmother, Lelia Robertson; step-grandmother, Gaulia Robertson. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Colburn Reeves; daughter, Randi Kay Reeves, Daniel Jenkins, Hoover; sister, Donna Reeves Graham (Terry Graham) Estill Springs, TN; grandchildren, Daylen Jenkins, Winfield, and Dani Kay Jenkins, Hoover, and a host of other family and friends. Randy was born in Hightogy, Alabama. He graduated from Lamar County High School in Vernon in 1973. He attended Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. He attended Bevill State Jr. College in Fayette and was also a computer instructor there. He worked at Hyster Co in Sulligent. He co-owned Computer Associates. In 1993 Randy accepted his dream job with King Kutter, Inc. in Winfield as the computer programmer. Randy was a computer consultant for the city and county of Fayette. He was on the computer Board at Bevill State Jr. College for many years. He really enjoyed being a part of the Fayette County Tractor Pull Association. He married Nancy Colburn Reeves in 1978. His daughter, Randi Kay Reeves was born in 1989. He was an active member of the Fayette Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon. He loved being the youth Group leader for many years. His first home church was Mt. Olive Church of Christ in Vernon. He was so happy to be “Pop Pop” to Daylen and Dani Kay Jenkins. Pallbearers will be Joe Woodham, Murl Lamar Helms, John Rogers, Tom Hubbert, and John Price, Angel Lara, and Jason Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons at Fayette Church of Christ, Dr. Jon Sanford, Dr. William Hill, Mark Perkins, Arnolfo Lara “Al”, Phillip Fraley and his King Kutter family in Winfield and Gallipolis, OH.
