Kermit Thomas “Topper” Hart, II, age 72, of Tuscaloosa, AL died May 23rd, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 27th, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Jerry Deasy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Norwood-Wyatt of Fayette, AL will be directing. Kermit was preceded in death by his parents Kermit and Aletha Hart and his sisters Judy Sweet and Ruthmary Unsworth. He is survived by his wife Alida B. Hart of Tuscaloosa, son Kip Hart (Juli) of Tuscaloosa, daughter Adrienne Roberta (Joseph) of Hoover, and grandchildren Kelli Hart, Mason Hart, Bradyn Hart, Sophi Hart, and Hannah Roberta. Topper was born and raised in Mobile, AL, served in the United States Air Force, moved to Tuscaloosa in 1979, and resided here until his death. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He always had a story to tell and fun facts to share.
