Edward Eugene Lusk, Jr. (Eddie), age 48, of Marietta, GA died on May 3, 2016. A funeral service was held on May 7, 2016 in Marietta, GA. Graveside services will be held on May 27, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Eddie was born in Mobile, Alabama. He was a graduate of Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He followed his family’s tradition and was the fourth generation to attend the University of Alabama where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and graduated in 1990 with a degree in accounting. While attending the University, he volunteered at the Children’s Hands on Museum. After working at smaller firms, Eddie joined CohnReznick in Atlanta in 1997 where he helped build a strong and diverse practice, providing audit, accounting and litigation services to real estate, government, nonprofit, and other entities. He made partner in 2001. Eddie loved hunting and fishing and was a lifetime member of the Coastal Conservation Association. He was a member of the General Josiah Gorgas Chapter of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars in Tuscaloosa and Johnson’s Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Winfield and Helen Hughes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Harry and Lucille Lusk of Fairfield, Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Walls Lusk of Marietta, GA and three children Jamie, Zachary and Mary Helen; his parents, Ed and Joanne Lusk of Warner Robins, GA; his sister, Alline Kent of Warner Robins, GA and her husband Ronnie, an uncle, Scotty Hughes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and an aunt Faye Manasco of Birmingham, Alabama, two nephews, Ronnie Jr. and Scotty Kent and numerous other relatives. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of one’s choice.
