Edward Files

Edward Lloyd Files, age 82, of Berry passed away April 10, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Larry Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Bevans Chapel Cemetery, Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Fayette directing. Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Edward was born on August 4, 1933 in Walker County to the late Elbert and Mamie Madison Files. He formerly worked at Hayes Aircraft and owned and operated Files Carpet for many years. He was a member of Corona Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Craig Files. He is survived by his wife, Willene Kelley Files; son, Gary Files; sisters, Shelby Milligan and Shirley (John) Lollar; and grandchildren, Kalen Files and Laken Files Bonner. Edward was loved deeply by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
