Pauline Stough

Mrs. Pauline Lowery Stough, age 89, of Fayette passed away Saturday, February 06, 2016 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care. Visitation was held Sunday, February 07, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Original Church of God in Bankston. Funeral Service followed at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Bro. James Hagood and Bro. Tony Aldridge officiating. Burial followed at the Piney Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Stough was born November 18, 1926 the daughter of the late Dock Lowery and Dora Burkette Lowery. Mrs. Stough was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood Stough, and one daughter, Linda Brown. She is survived by one daughter, Sarah (John) Sowins; two stepsons, Woody (Maggie) Stough, Ronnie (Carolyn) Stough; one adopted son, Michael Dunn Stough; three sisters, Frances (Tony) Aldridge, Ruth (Don) Crowley, Dorothy (Buddy) Cannon; four brothers, Carl Gene (Pat) Lowery, D.H. (Jean) Lowery, Bill (June) Lowery, Johnny (Eloise) Lowery; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were: John Sowins Jr., Joe Sowins, Tyler Sowins, Ben Stough, Mark Stough, David Stough and Brandon Dunn.
