Minnie Pearl Minyard

Mrs. Minnie Pearl Minyard age 73 of Fayette passed away Friday January 15, 2016 at her residence. Visitation was held Sunday January 17, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Funeral Service for Mrs. Minyard was held Sunday January 17, at 3:00pm at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Raymond Fowler and Rev. Chris Oliver officiating. Burial followed at the Fayette Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Minyard was born March 4, 1942 in Hurley, Va. the daughter of Minion Justus and Maggie Matney Justus. She formerly worked in manufacturing of telephone equipment. She has been a resident of Fayette for many years and was a member of the Trinity Church of God. She is survived by her husband, James Otis Minyard; four step-daughters, Patricia Ann (Paul) Earnest of Berry, Linda Carol (Allen) Nabors of Berry, Charlotte (Eddie) West of Fayette, and Debra Minyard Harper of Fayette; 8 grandchildren; 3 Brothers, Matthew Justus, Johnny Justus, Basil Justus; 4 sisters, Ada Hurd, Freida Deliberti, Cora Hillard, and Phyillis Branhan; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters and granddaughter Tomee Renea Williamson. Pallbearers were Zac Smith, Shannon Smith, Rusty Edmonson, Matthews West, Jody Pinion, and Jace Smith. Norwood Chapel of Fayette directed.
