Jewel Sanders

Mrs. Jewel Sanders age 80 of Fayette passed away Thursday September 24, 2015 at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral Service for Mrs. Sanders will be Sunday September 27, 2015 at 2:00pm at Norwood Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fayette Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The visitation will be Sunday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Sanders was born May 19, 1935 the daughter of the late Vester C. Woodard and Flora Wade Woodard in Fayette County. She was a former resident of Hubbertville and had lived in Fayette most of her life. She is survived by one son, Jesse Sanders of Fayette; two sisters, Jane (James C.) Lewis, of Northport, Al. and Doris Knight of Winfield, Al.; two brothers, Verlon Woodard of Oneonta, Al., and Frank (Beatrice) Woodard of Cullman, Al. She is preceded in death by her husband, Zack Sanders in 2012 and 7 Brothers and Sisters.
