Mr. Dexter H. Roberts, age 58 of the Hubbertville community, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Roberts was employed by Joy Global Corp. (Continental Conveyer) in Winfield as a truck driver with over 22 years of service. He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Driggers Roberts. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Sheree D. Roberts, two daughters, Janalee Sheree Patton (Kyle) of Tuscaloosa and Danielle Mae Ellis (Will) of Tuscaloosa, father, Henry Linden Roberts of Old Town, FL., grandchildren, Katelyn Mae Patton, Eli Wick Patton and William Griffin Ellis, sister, Marilyn Roberts, Waycross, GA, brothers, Wesley Roberts (Joni) of Tampa, FL and Timbo Roberts (Kimm) of Winfield and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Members of Dexter’s trucking family will serve as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers will be, Timmy Dozier, Jamie Dozier, Hugh Dozier, Kyle Patton, Will Ellis and Terry Henslee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Hubbertville Cemetery. Thermon Hubbert to officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Roberts family.
