Mary Helen Gartman

Miss Mary Helen Gartman age 81 of Fayette passed away Friday September 18, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral Service for Miss. Gartman will be Sunday at 2:00pm at Norwood Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Gartman officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Union Cemetery. The visitation will be Sunday from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home. Miss Gartman was born November 16, 1933 in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Harvey Alexander Gartman and Trudie Ann Latham Gartman. She lived most of her life in Fayette County and formerly attended Old Union Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Lawrence and Della Perkins of Crossville and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers and six sisters.
