Amy Boyd

Mrs. Amy Gilpin Boyd, age 69 of Fayette, passed away at her residence. Amy was born August 17, 1946 in Cleveland, TN, the daughter of the late William Van-Tassa Gilpin and Ina Fowler Gilpin. She was a resident of Magnolia, MS for several years and was a resident of Fayette for the past four years. She was a retired Nurse and was formerly employed at McComb Hospital in McComb, MS. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Boyd. Amy is survived by two sisters, June Gilpin of Jacksonville, Fla. And Gail (Mike) Gladden of Fayette; one brother, Van (Beth) Gilpin of Fayette; her God Child, Deanna Brumfield and Grand God Child, Christopher Lee of Magnolia, MS and several nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Fayette County Sheriff Deputies; her neighbors, the McCaleb Family and the Logan Family. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Norwood Chapel Funeral Home, Fayette, in charge.
