Margie Galloway

Mrs. Margie Eason Galloway, age 81 of Fayette died Friday, August 28, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Bro. Dalton Eason, Jr. and Bro. Jerry Colquett officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayette Memorial Gardens cemetery. The visitation will be Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Galloway was born December 26, 1933 in Walker County, the daughter of the late John Eason and Tressie Sanford Eason, She had been a life-long resident of Fayette and formerly worked at the Fayette Hospital and for Continental Telephone company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Galloway; one brother, Dalton Eason, two sisters, Juanita Sanford and Geraldean Henson. Survivors include two sons, Richard (Dian) White of Fayette and Terry (Tina Prejean) White of Lafayette, LA; sister: Billie Faye Taylor of Hamilton, GA; grandchildren: Richard White, Jr., Angie White, Sherry Frost, Nathan White, Jason White, Justin White and Christy Wilkinson; step-grandchildren: Renay Freeman, Tammy Jones, Rickey Matthews; great-grandchildren: Dustin White, Jordan Roberts, Morgan Roberts, Gracie White and Kayliegh White; step great-grandchildren, Ashley Frost and Harlie Poue. Pallbearers are Justin White, Nathan White, Jordan Roberts, John Underwood, Billie Ray Henson and Mickey Young. Honorary pallbearers are Gregory Taylor, Employees of Fayette Medical Center Home Health Care, Sandy Richardson, employees of Alabama Hospice Care of Jasper and Dustin White.
