Venita Knight

Funeral services for Mrs. Venita Knight, age 90 of Berry,were held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Bro. Randal Trimm officiating. Burial followed in Patton Hill cemetery. Mrs. Knight was born November 18, 1924 in Corona, AL, the daughter of the late Sherman "Shorty" Frost and Ora Crownover Frost. She died Monday, July 27 at her daughter’s residence in Parrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Knight; one daughter, Doris Cooper; two sons, Bobby Knight and Jeff Knight; one grandson, Codie Knight; two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Haley of Jasper; Donna (Doug) Henson of Spring, TX; Cheryl (Phillip) Thacker of Parrish; and Tammy (Jack) Smith of Jasper; four sons, Ralph (Loretta) Knight, Jerry Knight, Gary (Wanda) Knight and Ricky Knight all of Berry; one brother, Truman Frost; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Norwood Chapel directed.
