Jason Partin

Mr. Jason “Dodgeman” Partin, Sr., age 65 of Samantha, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Creech Funeral Home in Middlesboro, KY. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Hubbard cemetery in Chenoa, KY. The visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jason was born December 1, 1949 in Clairfield, TN. He was a resident of the Samantha community for the past 26 years and a former resident of Pineville, KY. He was a member of the Harmony Holiness Church in Duncanville, AL and was retired from P&M Mining Co. Jason was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country in Viet Nam. He was preceded in death by his father, Shelton G. Partin and his mother, Omey Partin; one sister, Lizzie Noah and one brother, Houston Partin. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Eversole Partin; two sons, Jason (Rose) Partin, Jr. and Jeffery (Viola) Partin both of Northport, AL; his biological mother, Amanda Maiden; one brother, John Poore (Kathy) of Indianapolis, IN.
