Mrs. Iva Jean “Tot” Logan Woodruff, age 86 of Northport, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Piney Grove Church of God with Bro. Greg Strickland, Bro. Tony Pope and Bro. Delton Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Woodruff was born February 17, 1928 in Tuscaloosa, the daughter of the late Joshua and Mary Moore Logan. She was a resident of Northport for 29 years and a former resident of Bankston/Fayette area for 31 years. She attended the Northport Church of God until she became unable and enjoyed attending senior adult events at her church and visits from the Senior Adult Ministry. She loved reading and watching old westerns on T.V. and enjoyed time with her cat Sam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Woodruff and one sister, Eunice Vick. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (William) Robertson and Billie (Dalton) Jones; one son, Jerry (Linda) Woodruff; one brother, Rev. Ben (Loretta) Logan; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers are Jeremy Woodruff, Joey Robertson, Steven Underwood, James Hudson, Ray Cook and Norman “Beaver” Burrage. Honorary pallbearers are DCH 6th Floor Nursing Staff, Hospice of West Alabama, Dr. Anand Pandy, Dr. Vance Plumb, Dr. Richard Shamblin, Northport Church of God and Piney Grove Church of God. .
