Jean Walton Swanson

Mrs. Jean Walton Swanson, age 83 of Huntsville, formerly of Berry, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berry City cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Bozeman officiating. Mrs. Swanson was born August 29, 1930 in Berry, AL, the daughter of the late John David Walton and Clista Doss Walton. She was a resident of Huntsville for fifty years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Walton, Olen Tilton Walton and Albert Walton. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Walter Swanson, Jr. of Huntsville; two daughters, Cynthia Hoffman of Huntsville and Cheryl Barnacle of Mobile; one son, Glenn Walter Swanson, III of Huntsville.
