Doris Faye Threadgill

Doris Faye Threadgill, age 71, of Guin, Alabama passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Born in Guin, Alabama, she is the daughter of the late Troy and Selma Williams Markham. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church. She had lived in Guin her entire life and had retired from Health-Tex. She is survived by her husband: Lano Threadgill of Guin, Alabama, two daughters: Kay (Doug) Todd of Guin, Alabama and Deborah Threadgill of Fayette, Alabama, four grandchildren: Jason (Melisha) Todd, Christy (Gary) Spann, Amanda (Jeremy) Franks, and Alisha (Kevin) Morris, seven great grandchildren, and her baby Buster. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers: ArDell Markham, Sonny Markham, Dalton Markham, and Don Markham, and one sister: Katherine Eads. Funeral services held Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 4:00 PM from the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Ashley Culp and Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Visitation held Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM just prior to the service time.
