Rev. Benjamin F. Wilson

Rev. Benjamin F. Wilson, age 89 of Fayette, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Fayette Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 21st at 2:00 P.M. at Canaan Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00-2:00. Burial will be in Fayette Memorial Gardens cemetery. The family will recieve friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Norwood Chapel. Rev. Wilson was born July 10, 1921 in Tuscaloosa Co., AL. to the late Sammy Wilson and Carrie Johnson Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Wilson in 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Cara (James) Whiteside of Fayette and Jo Ann Madison of Fayette; one son, James “Frank” Wilson of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Teressa D. Whiteside, M. Nicole Wilson, Terrence D. Wilson, Courtney Madison-Waller, Justin C. Madison; and four great grandchildren.
